On Thursday I had a special improvisation with classic composer Moritz Gagern.  It was closed event at Salon am Moritzplatz.
This time we had thema Gagaku, the Japanese classic orchestra music, which has its origin more than fifteen centuries ago. 
We’ve interested Gagaku’s outstanding relation between harmony, melody, and rhythm. We had very simple setting, a prepared-Piano, two microphon, a Looper and an Effector. 
For the last few years,  we ‘ve been performing together once in the year, 
each year we got different settings and themes, but this thema Gagaku will be the theme we’ll continue to work with.

ポツダムのパフォーマンス会場ファブリックポツダム[fabrikPotsdam]での映像、音、ダンスのコンサートでした。
2016年にジャズミュージシャン、ニコ[Nicolas Schulze]と出会ってから、時折、コンサートやプログラムに参加させていただいています。即興だけではなく、音楽の勉強にもなるので、ジャズ音楽系のお仕事はこれからも入れたいなと思っています。

JazzLab im November knüpft ein Band zwischen den Disziplinen und Generationen. Mit einer außergewöhnlichen Besetzung und international bekannten KünstlerInnen werden neue Verbindungen geschaffen und alte Bekanntschaften belebt: Der amerikanische und in Berlin lebende Bildhauer, Instrumentenbauer, Klangerfinder, Maler, Musiker und Zeichner Bob Rutman wurde berühmt durch seine musikalische Pionierarbeit mit dem Steel Cello, sowie seine Zusammenarbeit mit Künstlern wie Alexander Hacke, Robert Wilson und Wim Wenders u.v.a.

Die Tänzerin Amélie Rajotte und die Visual Arts Künstlerin Nelly-Eve Rajotte (Kanada) sind zurzeit in der fabrik Potsdam in Residenz.

Die japanische Musikerin und Performerin Yuko Matsuyama und der Jazzpianist Nicolas Schulze haben sich bei einer Zusammenarbeit an einer Performance über den amerikanischen Komponisten Moondog kennengelernt.

Ein Zusammenkommen ‘on-the-fly’ und ein Dialog ohne Worte!

Die fabrik Potsdam und der Potsdamer Musiker Nicolas Schulze präsentieren die Reihe JazzLab. JazzLab ist Klanglabor und Hörwerkstatt zugleich. Unbekannte Sounds und ungehörte Arrangements werden auf das Publikum losgelassen. Den Einstieg in den Abend bildet die JazzLab-Band. Sie spielt, in Originalbesetzung, oder zusammen mit einem Gastmusiker/in, ein Eröffnungsset. Danach sind weitere Musikerinnen und Musiker eingeladen, sich auf der Bühne zu begegnen und in einer Session auszutauschen.

ハワイアンバンドHula Hut&The Seven Seasとの活動もかれこれ4年となりました。一生の趣味になるかなと歌い続けているんですが、週末の10月29日にはベルリンのウクレレフェスティバルに招待されて演奏してきました。
かなり高度なウクレレ演奏家が集まるフェスティバルなので、冷や汗ものだったのですが、Ukulele Zaza 氏がMaui Chimesを一緒に演奏してくださったり、他の方のライブでは、ウクレレファンのお客さんがずらりと手持ちのウクレレを取り出して一緒に演奏したりと、なんとも心温まる、そしてウクレレの素晴らしさを再発見できたイベントでした。

Musik Theater : Fuck the facts
卒業制作を見に来てくださった演出家、クリスチャン・ローマー氏に誘っていただいて、
ノイケルナー・オーパでの音楽劇の振付をしました。
ハイドンのオペラの曲を全編使っているので、ひたすら譜面を開く稽古場でした。
映像を担当したのが、ドイツでは最先端をいっているシャウシュピール・ドルトムンドの映像を多く作っているマリオ・サイモンでした。100％映像を使ったオペラは初めてだったので、小規模でしたが大変いい経験になりました。

Riders on the Shitstorm
Welcome to the age of self-empowerment. Just switch on your computer and twitter, post, troll, and hate away. Boss is base. Self-entitlement worldwide: that has been the credo of the virtual space riders of the artichoke cult since day one. Their enemies are evil dictators and inhuman regimes; their friends are the artichoke community and supporters. Their motto: make the internet great again.

But what happens if the artichokes start attacking one another? If their compass is no longer calibrated? To make a pile of ashes from a forest, it only takes only a cigarette. To make the internet burn it takes only a tweet. No matter if fake, if fact, or fiction? Irrelevant, out in the open it goes! Hugh, I spoke. I don’t require counter arguments. I am already a democrat. Fuck the facts, you’re not my dad! May the enemy scorch in the purgatory of my projections. Burn, baby, burn!

As an artist collective we contemplate the value of facts within our society. Our fictional narrative is (also) set in the middle of Berlin. Informed by a true incident of messianic hope for salvation and tribal justice inside the global village. We ask: who speaks out there for the privatized court of the internet. Who are the self-proclaimed cyber sheriffs? And why have they brought a giant wooden horse?

先週、修士課程の最終試験を終了し、
大学生活もそろそろ終わり、のはずだったのですが、
マスターのコースが終わった後も、あと半年大学に残ることにしました。

振付の修士過程をとっていた大学は、ベルリン芸大とエルンスト・ブッシュ演劇大学が共同で出資して３つのコースを運営している現代舞踊の為の大学機関、
Inter-University Centre for Dance Berlin（通称HZT）です。
私のコースは演劇大学に属していました。大変忙しい大学生活で、他の課と触れ合う時間がなくて残念に思っていましたが、修士課程が終わった後も半年在籍できることになったので、以前から興味があった演劇大学のドラマトゥルギーのコースに週一で聴講生として通わせていただくことにしました。

夏休み返上でステージングと振り付けを担当していたNeuköllner Operでのオペラ作品、
「Fuck the facts」も初日以来、たくさんのメディアが取材に来てくださっているようで、ほっとしています。
プロのコンテンポラリーダンサー達との仕事のプロセスとは180度角度を変えての振り付けで、諦めなくてはならない事も多かったのですが、役者も歌手も舞台機構や裏方も、自分にとってはコンテンポラリーダンスよりもずっとよくわかっている世界でのお仕事だったので、サクサクと、充実した毎日でした。
そして、この２年間で現象学等を読みながら考えていた事を、ダンス作品とオペラ作品という全く異なる舞台で試せたのは、この夏の大きな収穫でした。

2017年9月1日と2日、デッサオのバウハウスでのフェスティバルに参加しました。
持って行ったのは、2016年にリサーチをした色をテーマにした作品です。

ライプツィヒ・タンツテアターの振付家、Alessio Trevisani氏に誘っていただいて、
5月20日、21日と、初めてMagdaburg（マグダブルグ）という町に行ってきました。
　今年はリフォメーションから500年です。作品は、「天使」という、キリスト教、イスラム教、ユダヤ教をまたぐ存在がテーマになっていました。
修道院を改装した現代美術館でのオープニングイベントとしての発表でした。
アレッシオさんには、昨年から、私が３つのどの宗教にも属さないという事で、「何か出来るんじゃないですか？」と誘っていただいていました。自分の作品の製作中で、忙しい時期になるのは目に見えていて、ちょっと無謀だったのですが、心の声を無視できなくて、出演を決めました。
自分の作品でも、振りを100％設定するのではなく、即興で場を感じた対応が出来るシーン作りを心がけています。今回のアレッシオ氏の作品も、空間の移動経路と、大まかな指示以外は、すべて即興でした。氏には、私の作品のメンターもお願いしたのですが、他者に振付をする過程と、ダンサーとして振付される過程を同時に経験出来て、大変良い勉強になりました。
本番では、あまりの空間の美しさに、出演者一同、胸がいっぱいになりました。

大学院での卒業制作は、2016年末から研究中の色と動きをテーマにした作品でした。
音楽は、2013年からハワイアンバンドで一緒に活動しているTaylor Savvy、照明は前年に引き続きCatalina Fernandez、映像は以前から気になっていたSafy Etiel、そしてダンスは、長年コラボレーションを続けているカルロス・オサティンスキーとフェルナンド・ペリッチオリに踊ってもらいました。

日本で勉強をしたことがないので、比較はできないのですが、
2年間、７人の生徒に対して４人の教授と折々のゲストティーチャーからの指導をうけられるという、大変贅沢な環境でした。
1年目はドイツ語に苦闘しているうちに終わってしまいましたが、予算があるコースの上に、DAADの助成もいただいたので、2年目はからは、集中というか、作品作りに没頭することができました。

From which side of the black-white spectrum does one prefer — to view things from the blight or the dark side?

This dance performance aims to research the subjectivity of color perception. We find distance within and empathy through each other. 100 years after Goethe wrote “Farbenlehre – Theory of Colours” underneath sun, moon, star, and candle light, Japanese author Tanizaki wrote “In Praise of Shadows” under electric light. Currently technologies are greatly expanded since then, but has the technological developments improve our color identification? It is possible to create movement and sound with this perception? I have set the colors as a scenario and let the choreographer and musicians create movement and sound inside the colored-light, inspired by Goethe’s research, all of which was written under candle light.

A week after my birthday in this Winter, Isao visited me with a photograph from Ibiza. Month later I received the photo from the photographer Jordi Cervera.
I open the file and felt like if I received it as a birthday gift, an invitation to Ibiza.

私は歌専門ですが、プロデューサー達と時間をかけて、
ラジオでの声の使い方を少しずつ研究してゆきたいと思っています。
