WIND is one of my core theme for improvisation, workshop or lecture performance.
Wind, to be precise - the natural movement of the earth’s atmosphere The history of humanity is a succession of never ending stories of moving people. Inspired by the wind-like movements of families, traveling artists, merchants, monks and priests of the ancient times to today who created the world cultures of today, we softly sing and dance together.

- WORKSHOP - WIND is a three to five day long movement & sound improvisation workshop.
In this workshop we’ll allow ourselves to think about the wind, and more precisely the natural movement of the earth’s atmosphere. What we hear as sound or music are vibrations in the air. Listening to the air that exists outside and inside our body, we shall re-experience the sensation of the wind and the calm in our memory.
We will begin with listening, voicing, and movement practice and into group improvisation. Mai-ohgi, the Japanese folding dance fan will be introduced and will inspire our movement to play with the force of gravity and air resistance, helping us to visualise the wind.
Apply this awareness of vibration in the air and physical sensation of the air resistance and gravity, we'll exploring the image of wind & calm in improvisation.
